The Edit Rule

Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device.

This site does not set any. There is nothing to accept or decline, which is why you are not asked.

How we count visits

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It records that a page was viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and how the page performed.

It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device and does not build a profile of you. It cannot tell that two visits came from the same person, so it cannot follow you across the site or across the web.

We use these numbers to decide what to write next, nothing else.

Affiliate links

If you click an affiliate link, the retailer may set a cookie on their own site so they can attribute a purchase to us.

That cookie belongs to the retailer, not to us. It is set under their policy, on their domain, after you leave this site, and only if you click. You can read more on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

The contact form

If you send us a message, the form passes it to our email provider so it reaches our inbox. Nothing is stored on your device.

What we do not do

We do not run advertising networks. We do not use tracking pixels. We do not sell or share data about you. We do not build advertising profiles.

Fonts

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address as part of serving the font files. No cookie is set by this.
